I’m from Russia

Hi, I’m Dan. I’m from Russia. It’s the largest country in the world.

My country is situated on two continents: Europe and Asia. My country is wonderful. There are many mountains, rivers, lakes and forests in Russia. Moscow is the capital of Russia. Moscow is more than 800 years old. The Kremlin is the heart of Moscow.

Our official language is Russian, but people of hundreds nationalities live here.  We live  

There are a lot of beautiful cities in Russia. Saint-Petersburg is one of the wonderful historical centers and the second biggest city in Russia. Many people of the world visit this city every day. It was founded in 1703 by Tsar Peter the Great. The unique architecture of Saint-Petersburg is the national property of our country.

Russia has a very interesting history. That’s why we have a lot of museums, churches, galleries and exhibition centers in the country.

Russia is famous for its poets and writers (Pushkin, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Bulgakov); scientists (Korolyov, Tsiolkovsky, Mendeleev); officers (Suvorov, Kutuzov, Zhukov); masters of art and ballet dancers (Shalyapin, Pavlova, Ulanova, Nouriev).

Russian people are unique. They are kind, hospitable, joyful, talented, industrious and very devoted to their motherland. We can work and learn hard and we also can spend time with pleasure.

There are many industrial factories and plants all over the country. We also have a lot of places of interest, wonderful health resorts such as Sochi, Yalta, Kyslovodsk and other.

Russian symbols are: matryoshka, beryozka, and of course Russian songs.

Many foreign guests come to Russia every day and most of them like my country.
